PCB panelization and panel utilization directly affect material cost, process yield and quotation. This tool estimates piece count and utilization from panel size, unit size, gap and edge rail.
Rectangular panel array
公式: Count = floor((usable width + gap) / (unit width + gap)) x floor((usable height + gap) / (unit height + gap))
Usable width: panel width minus edge rails. Unit size: single part size including required outline allowance. Gap: spacing between units.

Formula basis: PCB panelization count is evaluated in both normal and rotated orientation, then the higher usable count is reported. Engineering note: tooling holes, fiducials, coupons, grain direction and factory panel standards can reduce usable area.
範例
A 250 x 350 mm panel with 45 x 70 mm units, 3 mm gap and 10 mm rails fits the best rectangular count shown by the tool.

工程注意事項 FPC panelization may also need tooling holes, stiffener placement, coverlay alignment and test coupons. Rectangular utilization is a first estimate; irregular nesting can improve special shapes. High utilization is not always best if it harms yield or handling stability.

Does this support irregular FPC shapes? Not yet. It gives a rectangular estimate. Irregular nesting can be a later premium tool.
Should coupons be included? For production costing, reserve space for coupons, tooling holes, marks and handling rails.
